Since 2017 we have had a Vetting Acceptance Policy to ensure that vessels chartered or intended to operate for Alma Petroli comply with minimum safety requirements. Since November 2019, as an OCIMF SIRE Submitting Member, we have started to carry out SIRE inspections. The purpose of our services is to increase the navigational safety of vessels transporting hazardous goods (crude oil and petroleum products, chemicals, gases, etc.). By raising the level of attention given to all aspects concerning the protection of human life and the environment, vetting activities aim to reduce as far as possible the risks associated with maritime transport (pollution, explosions, and other types of accidents). As of 01 May 2021 we have entrusted all our vetting activities to Alma Services.
